Carolyn is a children’s author and the creator of ANIMAL INSPIRATIONS – a series of feel-good picture books where it's all about fun while inspiring, guiding and creating memories.
Her motivator is her desire to ignite young imaginations and nurture happiness, kindness and self-worth while instilling a love of reading and possibility.
Carolyn is currently working on new ANIMAL INSPIRATIONS titles, focusing on more fun adventures with heart-felt messages tucked into their core.
Originally from South Australia, Carolyn lives in Northern New South Wales, Australia, where her family, who are never far away, are her greatest inspiration.
Leisa O’Brien is a professional artist and teacher with a career that spans decades, creating art that sells globally.
Painting with watercolour, gouache and acrylic is where she is happiest, but having been a Fashion, Architectural and Technical Illustrator – graduating with honours in design and illustration – she also works with ink, pen and varied mixed media.
Passionate about sparking children’s imaginations with her art, Leisa captures evocative emotions in vibrant watercolour, bringing the series an enchantment that is uniquely captivating.
Living on the Gold Coast, Australia, with her family, not far from the beach, the ocean and surf keep Leisa active and nourish her creativity.
